When to Use Walk-In
Walk-in is designed for non-emergency concerns that need same-day attention. Examples include:
- Cold, flu, fever, or sore throat
- Ear infection or sinus symptoms
- Minor eye irritation or infection
- Medication refill (short-term)
- Cough, mild chest congestion, or asthma check
- Minor cuts, sprains, or rashes
Do Not Use Walk-In For
The walk-in queue is not for medical emergencies. If you have any of the following, call 911 or go to the emergency department immediately:
- Chest pain or pressure
- Severe shortness of breath
- Stroke symptoms (sudden weakness, slurred speech, facial droop)
- Severe allergic reaction (swelling, difficulty breathing)
- Major injury or severe bleeding
- Suicidal crisis or severe mental health emergency
- Any other life-threatening medical emergency
In an emergency, call 911. For urgent but non-life-threatening concerns, you may also call the clinic at 780-750-0088.
